Submission Preparation Checklist
Before submission, authors must ensure that their manuscript complies with the following requirements. Submissions that do not meet these criteria may be returned for revision prior to peer review.
Originality
The manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal.
File Format
Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
Abstract
A structured abstract (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion) should not exceed 250 words.
Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should include the following sections:
- Title Page
- Abstract
- Keywords (3–5 MeSH terms)
- Introduction (approximately 500–600 words)
- Methodology (including study design, sample size calculation, inclusion and exclusion criteria)
- Results
- Discussion (approximately 600–800 words)
- Conclusion
- Limitations
- References
References
- References should preferably be from the last 5–10 years
- DOI should be included where available
- Suggested reference ranges:
- Original Articles: 20–30
- Review Articles: 30–40
- Case Reports: 10–15
Ethical Approval
- Institutional Review Board (IRB/ERC) approval must be obtained and clearly stated
- Informed consent must be obtained where applicable
Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software (Turnitin/iThenticate).
An acceptable similarity index is ≤19% (excluding references).
Referencing Style
- References must follow Vancouver style
- Citations should be numerical
- Authors are responsible for accuracy and completeness
Tables and Figures
Tables and figures must be properly labeled, numbered, and cited in the text.
Images should have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
Author Contributions
Authors must declare their contributions in accordance with ICMJE criteria, including:
Concept, design, data collection, analysis, writing, and critical review.
Conflict of Interest
All authors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest.
Funding Disclosure
Sources of funding (if any) must be clearly stated.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure
Authors must disclose the use of AI tools, including:
- Name of the tool
- Purpose of use
AI tools must not be listed as authors.
Language Quality
Manuscripts should be written in clear, professional academic English and proofread prior to submission.
Peer Review Agreement
All submissions are subject to a double-blind peer review process.
Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright and agree to publication under the
Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.

AI Declaration Requirement
Authors must include one of the following statements in the manuscript:
- “AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or Grammarly) were used for language editing only. The authors take full responsibility for the content.”
OR - “No AI tools were used in the preparation of this manuscript.”
Important Notice
- All manuscripts must comply with journal requirements
- Ethical approval, author contributions, and conflict of interest statements are mandatory
- Original articles must include sample size calculation, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and limitations
- Non-compliant submissions may be returned for revision
