Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The manuscript is original and not under consideration elsewhere
  • A structured abstract (≤250 words) is included
  • The manuscript is submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc/.docx)
  • The manuscript has been screened for plagiarism and the similarity index is within journal limits (≤19%)
  • References follow Vancouver style and include recent literature (preferably from the last 5–10 years) with DOI where available
  • The manuscript file is anonymized for double-blind peer review
  • Author contributions comply with ICMJE criteria
  • Ethical approval is obtained and stated where applicable
  • Informed consent is included where applicable
  • Conflict of interest statement is included
  • Funding sources are disclosed
  • AI usage (if any) is disclosed
  • Authors agree to the journal’s copyright and licensing policy

Author Guidelines

Authors are required to ensure that their manuscripts comply with the following requirements prior to submission. Submissions that do not meet these criteria may be returned for revision before peer review.

Originality

The manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal.

File Format

Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).

Abstract

A structured abstract (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion) should not exceed 250 words.

Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should include the following sections:

Title Page
Abstract
Keywords (3–5 MeSH terms)
Introduction
Methodology (including study design, sample size calculation, and inclusion/exclusion criteria where applicable)
Results
Discussion
Conclusion
Limitations
References

Reference Requirements

References should preferably include recent literature (within the last 5–10 years) and DOI where available.

Original Articles: 20–30 references
Review Articles: 30–40 references
Case Reports: 10–15 references

Ethical Approval

Institutional Review Board (IRB/ERC) approval must be obtained and clearly stated where applicable.

Informed Consent

Written informed consent must be obtained where applicable.

Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software (Turnitin/iThenticate).
An acceptable similarity index is ≤19% (excluding references).

Referencing Style

References must follow the Vancouver style.
Citations should be numerical and DOI included where available.

Tables and Figures

Tables and figures must be properly labeled, numbered, and cited in the text.
Images should have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.

Author Contributions

Authors must declare contributions in accordance with ICMJE criteria.

Conflict of Interest

All authors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest.

Funding Disclosure

Sources of funding, if any, must be clearly declared.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure

Authors must disclose the use of AI tools, if applicable, including the name and purpose of the tool.
AI tools must not be listed as authors.

Language Quality

Manuscripts should be written in clear, professional academic English and proofread prior to submission.

Peer Review Process

All submissions are subject to a double-blind peer review process.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.
 
Published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).
 
This license permits non-commercial use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author(s) and source are properly cited.
 

AI Declaration Statement

Authors must include one of the following statements in the manuscript:

  • “AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or Grammarly) were used for language editing only. The authors take full responsibility for the content.”
    OR
  • “No AI tools were used in the preparation of this manuscript.”

Important Notice

  • Ethical approval, author contributions, and conflict of interest statements are mandatory where applicable.
  • Original research manuscripts should include sample size calculation, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and limitations where relevant.
  • Manuscripts not meeting journal requirements may be returned to authors for revision prior to editorial evaluation..
