Self-Archiving and Repository Policy

The Pakistan Journal of Advances in Medicine and Medical Research (PJAMMR) supports open access and the broad dissemination of scholarly work. We allow authors to archive their work in accordance with the journal’s licensing and copyright policy.

All articles published in PJAMMR are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). This license permits non-commercial use, distribution, and reproduction of the work in any medium, provided the original author and journal are properly cited.

Permitted Versions for Self-Archiving:

Authors may deposit the following versions of their manuscript:

  • Preprint (version before peer review)

  • Postprint (accepted version after peer review)

  • Published version (Version of Record as it appears on PJAMMR’s website)

Where You Can Archive:

Authors may self-archive their work in:

  • Institutional or subject-based repositories (e.g., PMC, ResearchGate)

  • Personal or academic websites

  • University repositories

  • Non-commercial academic networks

Conditions:

  • Proper citation of the published article in PJAMMR is required.

  • A link to the published version and the CC BY-NC 4.0 license must be included.

  • The article may not be used for commercial purposes.

This policy ensures authors maintain their rights while promoting responsible sharing of medical knowledge.
